DALLAS, April 15 (UPI) -- U.S. actress Cynthia Nixon has revealed she is a breast cancer survivor and has joined the advocacy group Susan G. Komen for the Cure as an ambassador.
Nixon, who starred in the former hit TV show "Sex and the City," will speak out about her experience with breast cancer, attend events and help educate millions of people about the disease through TV and radio public service announcements, the group said.
