'Rock,' 'Betty,' 'Sopranos' lead SAG nods

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 21 (UPI) -- U.S. TV shows "30 Rock" and "Ugly Betty" were each nominated for three Screen Actors Guild awards, including the prize for best ensemble cast in a comedy.

The shows' stars will compete with the casts of "Desperate Housewives," "Entourage" and "The Office" for the honor.

"30 Rock" stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey also grabbed individual nominations in the actor and actress in a comedy categories.

Fey is up against "Ugly Betty" stars America Ferrera and Vanessa Williams, as well as Christina Applegate and Mary-Louise Parker, for the award for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series.

"The Sopranos" earned individual nominations for actors Edie Falco and James Gandolfini, as well as a nod for best ensemble cast in a drama series.

Also shortlisted for the best cast in a drama prize are the stars of "Boston Legal," "The Closer," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Mad Men."
