'Iconoclasts' together again on Sundance

NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Six new pairs of talents, including comedian Dave Chappelle and poet Maya Angelou, were announced for the Sundance Channel's second season of "Iconoclasts."

Starting Oct. 26, each hourlong show will be set at the studio or significant location for two artists or innovators who share insights into their creative process, Sundance reported.

The six-part series, produced by Robert Redford, will feature Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder and surfer Laird Hamilton; ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov and California chef Alice Waters; filmmaker Quentin Tarantino and singer/songwriter Fiona Apple; actress Isabella Rossellini and inventor Dean Kamen; musician-songwriter Paul Simon and producer Lorne Michaels; and Angelou and Chappelle.

"Each 'Iconoclasts' pairing is fascinating on so many levels," Sundance Channel President and Chief Executive Officer Larry Aidem said. "These individuals have made a significant impact in their respective fields and when combined, create endless possibilities for great storytelling."
