Gwen Stefani to make solo debut

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 (UPI) -- No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani will make her solo performing TV debut on the upcoming American Music Awards telecast, producers announced Monday.

Stefani is scheduled to open the telecast with "What You Waiting For," the first single from her upcoming solo album, "Love Angel Music Baby."

The lineup of performers scheduled to appear on the telecast includes Kenny Chesney, Josh Groban, Toby Keith, Jessica Simpson, Usher, Kanye West and Gretchen Wilson.

The 32nd American Music Awards will be presented Nov. 14 at the Shrine Auditorium and televised by ABC.
