Asked how she feels to be competing against more seasoned actresses during awards season, Wood said, "I feel pretty small."

"But I also really can't believe that I'm even being considered to be put in the same category as these women who I've grown up watching and kind of tried to model myself after, so I don't know how to feel about it," she said. "I also love all these other women and would love to see them win."

To win the SAG honor, Wood must best Charlize Theron, Patricia Clarkson, Diane Keaton and Naomi Watts. The teen will compete against Cate Blanchett, the actress who played her mother last year in "The Missing," as well as Scarlett Johansson, Nicole Kidman, Theron and Uma Thurman for a Golden Globe Award.
