DUSSELDORF, Germany, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Rheinmetall AG of Germany announced on Friday the receipt of a contract from an unidentified international customer for artillery ammunition.
The award is worth about $141.3 million.

DUSSELDORF, Germany, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Rheinmetall AG of Germany announced on Friday the receipt of a contract from an unidentified international customer for artillery ammunition. The award is worth about $141.3 million.

Rheinmetall said the order covers its full spectrum of 155mm ammunition variants and propellants and will be fulfilled by Rheinmetall Denel Munition of South Africa, a joint venture subsidiary established in 2008.
The shells and propellants will be delivered through 2019, the company said, but additional contract details were not disclosed.
