CGI continues support for Army's TRADOC G2 directorate

FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army's Training and Doctrine Command Intelligence Directorate will continue to receive support services from CGI Group Inc.

The services for TRADOC G2, under a $124 million re-compete contract, are for program management and technical support of core functions and training environment.

Training environment includes training scenarios, threat replications and data needed to assure Army units are prepared to meet a variety challenges -- from traditional military threats to asymmetric and hybrid threats.

"We are very proud to be able support TRADOC G2 with a range of sophisticated planning, training and innovative information technology services," said Pat Dougherty, Senior Vice-President, CGI. "We look forward to continued program success in the years ahead."

Four of the five years covered by the award are option years. Additional details of the contract and of the services to be provided were not disclosed.

CGI is an information technology and business process services firm.
