KIEV, Ukraine, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Ukraine's parliament ousted the Cabinet Tuesday in protest against a new agreement for the pricing of Russian natural gas.
Despite appeals from Prime Minister Yury Yekhanurov who defended the agreement with Russia's Gazprom that saw Ukraine agreeing to pay $95, almost double the $50 per cubic meter it was paying, for supplies, 250 of the 405 parliamentary deputies voted to dismiss the Cabinet.
