UK seeks tougher line on Zimbabwe

LONDON, March 13 (UPI) -- Britain Wednesday launched new diplomatic initiatives for tougher action against Zimbabwe after Robert Mugabe won a fifth term as the country's president amid accusations of intimidation of voters and opposition politicans. Britain has condemned the election outcome as predictable and is seeking consultations with the United States, the European Union and African governments on what to do next.
