(UPI) -- David Arquette opened up about his ex-wife's current love life and why we're all "God's in a way" during a drunken interview with Howard Stern.

The 42-year-old actor called Stern's Sirius XM show Wednesday after getting "wasted" at an event.

"I threw a wrap party for this film I'm working on called The Key. This isn't the first time I called you [drunk], I've called in a few times," he said.

Arquette went on to tell Stern how he felt about him.

"You are incredible," he said. "You are God. We're all God's in our own way. We're all droplets of God…The whole game is to entertain God. God created us all."

Asked about his ex-wife Courteney Cox, Arquette explained she had broken up with her Cougar Town costar Brian Van Holt.

"She's with someone who loves and cares for her. That's all I care about," he said, later adding, "She's the most brilliant, beautiful friend that I've ever met."

The actor went on to discuss Adolf Hitler, Grand Theft Auto V and the N-word before apologizing for his current state.

"I'm sorry, and I apologize to anyone I'm going to offend. And I'm wasted and I'll get sober tomorrow."
