Internet giant Google updated its Google Glass policy regarding sexually explicit content on Saturday just hours after MiKandi, a developer of adult content apps, released "T*** & Glass," a pornographic app for the device.

ABC News reports that even though the latest update on the policy states that it was enacted on Saturday June, 1 2013, officials at Google claim they added the clause last week.

However, MiKandi co-founder Jennifer McEwen said her company had been careful not to break any of the rules at the time they launched their app, which allows users to "browse and vote on racy content."

"When we first picked up our device, we were very careful to comb through all of Google's terms, policies and developers' agreement to make sure we were playing within their rules. That was important to us to play in Google's boundaries," McEwen said. "Even last week as we were gearing up to make the announcement, we took a look the agreement and there was no mention again of a ban on adult content."

Because there is no Google Glass App Store, Google hasn't been able to ban the app yet. Regardless, MiKandi officials said they will adjust the app to comply to Google's new policy.

"We are going to have to be really creative. There are tasteful and artful things we can do," Jesse Adams, the CEO and co-founder of MiKandi said. "We still really want to play around the idea of having Glass users share the content, but we need to figure out ways for users to share photos, whether they are just sexy or clothed."

According to a Google spokesperson, "any Glassware that violates [the Sexually Explicit Material] policy will be blocked from appearing on Glass."
