Gary Cole (no known relation to the actor) is currently finishing up a 25-year sentence for "delaying interstate commerce, conspiring to do so, and using and carrying a firearm in relation to a crime of violence," at a prison in Florence, Colorado.

But according to a report in the Dallas Observer, Cole has also decided to sue Taco Bell's parent company, Yum Brands, for allegedly stealing his idea to create taco shells made of Doritos.

Taco Bell introduced Doritos Locos Tacos in 2012. The chip-flavored line of tacos proved so popular, that the fast food company reportedly sold a million of them each day last year.

But Cole thinks that Taco Bell stole his idea from a notarized document he mailed to his attorney in 2006, which listed "tacos (sic) shells of all flavors (made of Doritos)" as a product he would make part of a brand line called "Divas and Ballers."

Cole, who will be representing himself, filed a lawsuit against the chain in federal court Wednesday, charging the company with stealing his idea. He has already contacted the FBI and IRS requesting information about Taco Bell's Doritos Locos Tacos under the Freedom of Information Act.
