June 8 (UPI) -- Security footage from London's Borough Market has surfaced online, showing the three suspects in Saturday's terrorist attack stabbing a civilian before police shoot them dead.

The footage, which was posted online and is being reviewed by police, shows the attackers chasing and stabbing a pedestrian. Moments later, a police vehicle enters the frame and officers emerge with guns drawn and open fire, shooting the suspects as they charged at them with knives drawn. One officer briefly comes to blows with one of the attackers. The two are seen tumbling to the ground before the officer stands up and gets off a shot.

The entire incident spans a matter of seconds.

Police have identified the suspects as Khuram Butt, 27, Rachid Redouane, 30, and Youssef Zaghba, 22. They are accused to using a truck to drive over pedestrians on the historic London Bridge, before traveling to the nearby Borough Market where the rampage continued.

British officials have widely praised the fast police response in stopping the attack. Only 8 minutes elapsed from the first calls to 999, the British equivalent of 911, until the suspects were shot and killed.

While London police have yet to confirm the authenticity of the video, officials told The Guardian they are "aware" of what has circulated online. The Independent Police Complaints Commission, which under British law investigates all incidents involving police use of lethal force, said it is reviewing security footage from the market, though it did not say whether that includes the video published Wednesday.

The fallout from the second deadly terrorist attack in England in as many weeks continued Wednesday night. Police said they arrested five more people in locations across the city in connection with the investigation. Two unidentified men, ages 27 and 29, were arrested on terrorism related charges, while a 30-year-old was apprehended on drug charges. Earlier Wednesday, two other men were also arrested on terrorism charges. Authorities have not said what connection the suspects have to the investigation.

London police said earlier in the week 12 people had been detained as part of the investigation into Saturday's attack, but all had been released.
