Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop loses earring, asks Twitter for help

SYDNEY, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Julie Bishop, foreign minister of Australia and noted emoji enthusiast, has asked Twitter users for help finding her lost pearl earring.

Bishop, a member of Australia's Liberal Party, appeared Monday on Sky News with only one earring. She later took to Twitter to announce that she had lost it in Sydney's Martin Place.

Bishop had stopped by Sky News to discuss the fates of two Australians imprisoned in Indonesia on drug trafficking charges.
