Drone strike kills seven suspected militants in Afghanistan

JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Dec. 14 (UPI) -- A NATO airstrike in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday killed at least seven suspected militants, officials said.

Local police confirmed the report, saying the militants were killed in a drone strike in Lalpoor district at about 9 a.m., Khaama Press reported.

No civilian casualties were reported.
