30 Russians engaged in street brawl

MOSCOW, June 15 (UPI) -- Russian police said 30 people were brawling on an upscale residential street in Moscow, with three people requiring hospitalization.

The brawl, which was called in to police at 4:50 a.m. Saturday, began as a verbal argument that escalated into a full-scale street fight, RIA Novosti said. It took place less than 2 miles from the Kremlin.

Its cause remains under investigation.
