JERUSALEM, March 1 (UPI) -- An Israeli military doctor is suspected of raping or performing indecent sex acts on several female officers who came to him for care, investigators say.
Military police opened an investigation into the allegations in December, Ynetnews.com reported Friday.

A civilian employee of the Israeli Defense Force, the physician is a suspect in sexual assaults of soldiers who came to him complaining of minor ailments such as stomach aches and sore throats.
Prosecutors say they are also looking to allegations the doctor committed sexual offenses against soldiers at a previous post several years ago.
