KABUL, Afghanistan, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- Ten Afghan civilians were killed Thursday when a roadside bomb exploded in southern Helmand province, authorities say.
The incident in the district of Mosa Qala killed five women, four men and a child, Khaama Press reported.

Seven other people were wounded.
All of the victims were riding in a civilian vehicle, district security chief Haji Amir Mohammad said. A similar incident in the same district last week killed 11 civilians and wounded several others.
No one has yet claimed responsibility for Thursday's blast.
