Both the victim and the alleged killer are Canadian citizens of Chinese descent, the Canadian Broadcasting Company reported.

Peel police confirmed last week it was Gua's remains that were found, two weeks ago. A severed head, a foot, two hands and other body parts were found in the Credit River in Mississauga and in Highland Creek in Toronto, both areas of Greater Toronto.
