KABUL, Afghanistan, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A coalition helicopter crashed in southern Afghanistan Thursday, killing 11 people, the International Security Assistance Force said.
Four ISAF members, three U.S. Forces-Afghanistan service members, three Afghan national security troops and one Afghan civilian interpreter were killed, the ISAF said in a statement.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, the coalition said.
ISAF said it is its policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the appropriate national authorities.
