PESHAWAR, Pakistan, May 29 (UPI) -- The Pakistani doctor who helped the United States learn where Osama bin Laden was hiding has had his life threatened, an intelligence agency report revealed.
GEO News reported Tuesday the threats against Dr. Shakil Afridi were detailed in an intelligence report to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province official Haider Khan Hoti. The head of the Peshawar jail where Afridi is serving a 33-year sentence for treason has assigned two unarmed security guards to protect him, the TV news channel said.
