Bouvette is charged in the death of 19-month-old Iyanna Teeple, who was found face down in a bathtub at Bouvette's home May 26 and was pronounced dead at a hospital three days later. Police said the girl's grandmother had dropped her off at Bouvette's home several hours before she was found in the tub.

An autopsy confirmed the girl drowned, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said.
