At least 10 dead in Iraq bus accident

KIRKUK, Iraq, Aug. 27 (UPI) -- A road accident in Iraq Saturday resulted in the death of the majority of 21 passengers on a bus, officials said.

The accident happened just north of Kirkuk, Aswat al-Iraq reported.

"A saloon car has collided with a 21-passenger bus on the main road, connecting Kirkuk with Dibbis township, close to K-1 area of the state-owned North Oil Co., killing the majority of the bus passengers," a security official said.

Kirkuk is 174 miles north of Baghdad.
