MADRID, March 9 (UPI) -- The international police organization Interpol issued a code red for the arrest of a Colombian member of the guerrilla group FARC, El Pais reported Wednesday.

Salazar is accused of attempting to assassinate two Spanish ex-presidents in Madrid -- Andres Pastrana and Alvaro Uribe -- with the help of ETA.

Spanish Judge Eloy Velasco issued an arrest warrant for six alleged ETA members and five FARC activists, including Salazar, for their alleged involvement in plots to carry out terrorist attacks in Spain.

FARC is the Spanish acronym for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
