AUCKLAND, New Zealand, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- A day after a South Korean fishing boat sank north of Antarctica, the search for 17 men still missing was being scaled back Monday.
It is increasingly unlikely that more survivors will be found, NZTV One News in New Zealand reported.

Forty-two people were aboard the No. 1 In Sung when it suddenly sank some 1,900 miles southeast of New Zealand. The boat's owners say it may have hit an iceberg.
Five people are confirmed dead and 20 were rescued.
Two New Zealand fishing vessels have quit the search but three Korean fishing boats continued searching Monday night.
