ATLANTA, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., kept up his tradition of live-tweeting the Republican presidential debates, reiterating his charge that the candidates on stage were "out of touch."
Tuesday's debate focused on national security and terrorism, with much of the discussion dominated by the Islamic State and foreign policy in Syria. While candidates like Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Ohio Gov. John Kasich and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson called for American ground troops in Syria, Sanders tweeted: "A lot of talk about war. No talk about the 500,000 men and women who came home with PTSD, and traumatic brain injury."
