BEIRUT, Lebanon, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Lebanese President Michel Suleiman is expected to give Saad Hariri, head of the anti-Syrian camp, another shot at forming a government, officials say.

The report came less than 24-hours after Hariri resigned as prime minister-designate for failing to form a unity government following 73 days of fruitless coalition talks.

There is said to be broad consensus among various political bodies favoring a Hariri reappointment, Ynetnews reported.

Nabih Berri, head of the Shiite Amal movement and speaker of the Lebanese parliament, says he will insist on Hariri.

Already agreed to is a 30-minister government, made up of 15 ministers from Hariri's camp, 10 from the opposition, led by Hezbollah, and five from Suleiman's camp.
