Argentine pilots go on strike

BUENOS AIRES, April 3 (UPI) -- Pilots for Argentina's largest airline went on strike Thursday, resulting in the grounding of all flights by the company, airline officials said.

The pilots, however, returned to work after a four-hour stoppage, union leaders said.

The Aerolineas Argentinas pilots' strike caused widespread delays at domestic and international terminals in the capital and elsewhere, La Nacion reported online.

Leaders of the pilots' union said they were striking for improved working conditions for the fliers.
