WILLIAMSBURG, Iowa, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama says his wife wants this to be his only run for the White House.
"My wife and I were talking the other day. And she said 'We're not doing this again'. And those of you who met her know she doesn't mince words," Obama told an audience in Iowa, CNN reported Saturday.
Obama said he and his wife, Michelle, only recently finished paying off their college student loans and began saving for their daughters' college education, CNN reported.
Obama, who said he did the family's grocery shopping until recently, Friday told the largely blue-collar audience that too many years spent in Washington makes people lose touch with what is normal, CNN reported.
"My wife still shops at Target," Obama added.
