Money motive in deaths of mother, baby

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Massachusetts prosecutors say money appears to the motive in the shooting deaths of a 27-year-old woman and her 9-month-old daughter in Framingham.

Monday, a federal judge granted a media request to unseal 231 pages of police warrant documents related to the prosecution of Neil Entwistle, 27, who was charged last week with killing his wife, Rachel, and their daughter, Lillian on Jan. 20.

The warrant requests, filed by Massachusetts State Trooper Michael Banks, detail Entwistle's financial problems, visits to Web sites about suicide and "how to kill someone with a knife," as well as Internet escort services.

"I believe that there may be a financial motivation for this murder," said Banks in the court warrants. "It appears that Neil and Rachel Entwistle had accumulated a sizable amount of debt and may have been living well beyond their means."

Entwistle is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, the Milford (Mass.) Daily News said.
