Police miss bodies; husband 'of interest'

HOPKINTON, Mass., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Massachusetts and British police are investigating the murder of a woman and her daughter at her Hopkinton, Mass., home.

Rachel Entwistle and her 9-month-old daughter were found shot to death Sunday, the Boston Globe reports.

Police and family members who went to Entwistle's house Saturday didn't find her but police came back Sunday, smelled a foul odor, and found the two in the master bedroom.

Her husband, Neil Entwistle, is being interviewed by Massachusetts police and Scotland Yard at the U.S. Embassy in London.

Middlesex County District Attorney Martha Coakley called Neil "a person of interest" but not a suspect, saying nobody has been ruled in or out of the investigation.

The inquiry has led to an Internet business through which Neil sold software via eBay.

Customer reviews of the business had been stellar until Jan. 6 when complaints flooded the Web site about not receiving purchases, prompting eBay to suspend the account.

Hani Durzy, a spokesman for eBay, said the company is cooperating with the investigation.
