GAZA, May 14 (UPI) -- Violence continued Friday in the Gaza strip, with two Israeli soldiers killed and three Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, injured.

Saray Al Quds said in a leaflet, "Our militants killed two soldiers and wounded two others after they were targeted by an anti-tank ... missile" while the soldiers, army snipers, tried to get on the roof of a building.

The groups said the attack was in retaliation for Israeli raids on Palestinian towns and refugee camps.

Israeli bulldozers have been leveling houses in Rafah as it widens the border strip between Gaza and Egypt. At least four Palestinians were killed overnight as they tried to attack troops in the area.

In a separate incident west of the Jewish settlement of Nitzarim south of Gaza City witnesses said a car carrying a pregnant woman on her way to give birth at a hospital in the city was hit by a tank shell.

Medical sources at Gaza Shiffa Hospital said the woman, her brother and the driver of the car were injured by fragments from the tank shell.
