, Sept. 10 (UPI) -- Two-term Sen. Bob Smith of New Hampshire lost in his bid for re-election Tuesday when Rep. John Sununu captured the Republican nomination. Sununu moves on to November when he will face the state's governor, Jeanne Shaheen, the winner of the Democratic nomination.
