Walton family makes $300 million gift

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., April 11 (UPI) -- The University of Arkansas Thursday received a record $300 million gift from the family of Sam Walton, the late founder of Wal-Mart Stores, the world's largest corporation. The gift is the largest ever presented to a U.S. public university.
