Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Many people think Dwayne Wade's son could one day end up in the NBA. Recent footage of Zaire Wade certainly makes it look possible.

The 15-year-old is playing at American Heritage School, just west of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He is about 6-foot-2.

While dad is playing in Ohio for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Zaire showed off his hops in a video from Overtime.

Zaire takes a couple dribbles, before elevating and throwing the ball in with his left hand. He follows the successful attempt by screaming in celebration.

In November, Zaire was seen throwing down a dunk at Quicken Loans Arena, while wearing Cavaliers gear. LeBron James' 13-year-old son was also at that game and took pictures with his friend. LeBron James Jr. is also pretty awesome on the court.

I know what you're wondering: can Dwyane Wade play with his son on the NBA level?

Well, Wade is 35-years-old. Zaire is a freshman and his senior year is 2020. If he went to college for one year and was in the 2021 NBA Draft, Wade would be 38-years-old.

Kobe Bryant retired in 2016 at the age of 38. Wade is in his 15th season. Bryant played 20 seasons for the Los Angeles Lakers.
