NBA executive vice president of basketball operations Kiki VanDeWeghe announced the suspension.

The incident occurred when the forward made "forceful and unwarranted contact" with Celtics Center Kelly Olynyk, according to the NBA release.

Oubre was enraged after Olynyk set an illegal screen on him and ran at Olynyk. His hit sent him to the floor.

The Wizards won the game 116-89.

Olynyk had one point, one rebound and one assist in 11 minutes during Game 3. Oubre had two points in five minutes.

The Wizards host the Celtics in Game 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Verizon Center. Boston leads the Eastern Conference Semifinals series 2-1. The winner of the series will likely battle the Cleveland Cavaliers, who currently have a 3-0 lead on the Toronto Raptors.
