One break led to another for the Golden State Warriors on Monday.

Hours after general manager Bob Myers outlined a plan for the Warriors to get MVP Steph Curry back from a knee injury, sportsbooks in Las Vegas installed the San Antonio Spurs as NBA title favorites ahead of the Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Late Monday, when Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul broke his hand, Vegas turned back the clock and switched the odds to favor the Warriors again at 5:4 odds. San Antonio and Cleveland are second and third.

The Clippers were considered the most likely second-round opponents according to the Vegas books until Paul's injury, which could keep him out for the entire postseason. But without Paul, the Blazers evened the series 2-2 and given Portland's potent guard play, they're now the favorite to advance to the second round.

The Warriors lead the Houston Rockets 3-1 in their first-round series.
