CLEVELAND, May 9 (UPI) -- Joakim Noah continues to be Cleveland's nemesis. The man who once said "Cleveland really sucks" at a press conference, now is in a war of words with Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones.

While the national champion Buckeyes visited for Game 2 of the Cavaliers' Eastern Conference playoff series agains the Chicago Bulls Wednesday at Quicken Loans Arena, Jones grabbed the public address microphone and said "let's go bring another championship to Ohio." Noah was caught on the bench saying "you ain't in the SEC."

Jones reacted by sending tweets saying: "watch yo mouth before I give you these hands chump" and "I'm at @JoakimNoah neck the rest of the series for that comment."

Following LeBron James' dunk on Noah in Friday's Game 3, Jones continued to chirp.

For his part, Noah contends that he did not know who Jones was until recently.

"I heard about it this morning," Noah said Thursday, according to NBC.. "I didn't know who he was until this morning. I wish him nothing but the best. I like Urban Meyer, I guess?"

"I'm not watching videos," he said. "I'm not talking to people during timeouts. I'm trying to focus on winning. I'm serious. I have never talked to Cordell? Cardale? I'm just getting ready and focused for these games."

The Bulls lead the Cavaliers 2-1 in the series and host the Cavs at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Noah has averaged 2.6 points and nine rebounds per game in the series.
