OKLAHOMA CITY, April 16 (UPI) -- When the NBA playoffs start Saturday, don't assume that Kevin Durant or Russell Westbrook care to watch.

Yes, the Oklahoma City Thunder are essentially 'sitting at home' this postseason, after being overtaken by the New Orleans Pelicans for the final playoff spot in the west.

But Durant offered a "Hell no!" when asked by a Thunder beat reporter if he would be watching the playoffs.

"I don't ever watch other teams," Russell Westbrook told the Oklahomans Anthony Slater.

Following the Thunder's (45-37) final game of the season, a 138-113 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves (16-66), Westbrook took to Facebook to thank the fans who greeted the team's return flight.

"The welcome home last night from the best fans in sports.....Appreciate you guys for this and all the rest of the support throughout the season #ThunderUp," Westbrook wrote.

Westbrook, 26, averaged 28.1 points, 8.6 assists, and 7.3 rebounds in 67 games this season. All stats were career highs.
