SAN ANTONIO, March 15 (UPI) -- Big games from Tony Parker and Tim Duncan Wednesday helped the San Antonio Spurs fight off Orlando 122-111 and snap the Magic's three-game winning streak.
Parker had 31 points and 12 assists. Duncan had 13 rebounds to go with 21 points, pushing the Spurs to their 17th home win in 21 games this season. Three of their four home losses, however, came during the seven-game homestand that concluded with the contest against the Magic.
Orlando had a one-point lead with 8:30 to go before the Spurs began to dominate.
The San Antonio lead in the Southwest Division was extended to four games over idle Memphis.
Dwight Howard had 22 points and 12 rebounds for Orlando. Howard made news prior to the trade deadline, saying he will play out the entire season with the Magic and thus become a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Jameer Nelson led Orlando in scoring with 25 points while Ryan Anderson had 19.
