The Mavericks sank 11-of-26 3-point tries and overpowered the superstar-laden Heat, winning the best-of-seven NBA Finals in six games.

Dirk Nowitzki added 21 points on 9-of-27 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Mavericks capitalized off the momentum they built in winning Thursday's Game 5 112-103 in Dallas.

Jose Juan Barea popped in 15 points for Dallas, which led by nine points going into the fourth quarter and was consistently able to bypass the Heat's defense.

Miami's LeBron James, who finished with 21 points, was largely invisible in the decisive third quarter. He was held without a shot until sinking a layup with 1:49 to play in the period.

Dwyane Wade went 6-of-16 from the floor for 17 points, while Chris Bosh added 19 and Mario Chalmers contributed 18 in Miami's loss.
