NBA: Miami 92, Dallas 84

MIAMI, June 1 (UPI) -- Miami's big three of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade combined for 65 points Tuesday in the Heat's 92-84 win over Dallas in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

James led the way with 24 points and Wade was right behind with 22 to lead the Heat, who trailed by one point at halftime and then outscored the Mavericks by four in both the third and fourth quarters.

James hit two 3-point shots in the final 1:12 of the third quarter to give Miami the lead for good.

Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 27 points. Shawn Marion had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Jason Terry came off the bench to chip in 12 points.

Wade had 10 rebounds for Miami, and Bosh and Wade pulled down nine apiece. The Heat outscored Dallas in the paint 28-24.

The best-of-seven series resumes Thursday in Miami.
