BALTIMORE, April 23 (UPI) -- Alex Rodriguez drove in six runs, including a grand slam, and Russell Martin homered twice Saturday in the New York Yankees' 15-3 rout of Baltimore.
Rodriguez hit a two-run double in addition to his eighth-inning, bases-loaded shot while Martin launched a three-run home run and a solo blast for the Yankees, who pounded 14 hits en route to their sixth win in eight games.
Jorge Posada and Brett Gardner homered and Robinson Cano went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored for New York.
CC Sabathia (1-1) earned his first victory of the year, improving to 9-1 in his last 10 starts at Camden Yards. The Yankees ace yielded three runs on six hits over eight innings, walking one and striking out seven.
Orioles starter Brad Bergesen (0-3) was lit up for six runs on eight hits over a six-inning start.
Adam Jones socked a three-run homer for the O's.
