NBA: Boston 110, New York 101

BOSTON, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce had 22 points and eight rebounds Tuesday to lead Kevin Garnett-less Boston to a 110-101 victory over New York.

Garnett sat out after being suspended for hitting Milwaukee's Andrew Bogut during Boston's overtime win Saturday. The one-game suspension cost Garnett upward of $200,000. Brian Scalabrine started in his place and had eight points, including a 3-pointer down the stretch.

Kendrick Perkins had 16 points for the Celtics, who have won eight of their last nine games.

Wilson Chandler scored 23 points for the Knicks, who have lost three of five overall. Zach Randolph added 18 points and eight rebounds.
