NBA: New Orleans 114, Indiana 106

INDIANAPOLIS, March 25 (UPI) -- David West and Chris Paul combined for 66 points Tuesday, fueling the New Orleans Hornets' 114-106 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

West scored 35 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Paul registered 31 points and 14 assists for the Hornets, who moved into a tie with the Los Angeles Lakers for first place in the Western Conference.

Peja Stojakovic added 16 points and Tyson Chandler 15 for New Orleans, which has won nine of its last 11 games.

Danny Granger had 26 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers, who entered the night 1 1/2 games behind Atlanta for the final playoff position in the Eastern Conference. Mike Dunleavy and Shawne Williams each scored 17 points for Indiana.
