Pettersen wins, still ranked fourth

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Suzann Pettersen collected her second consecutive LPGA title last weekend but wasn't able to improve her No. 4 world ranking among women golfers.

Pettersen won the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament on Sunday with an eagle on the final hole, a week after she was declared the winner of the LPGA's stop in South Korea. She's won five tournaments on the year and taken home more than $1.7 million.

She is fourth in the current world rankings, trailing Lorena Ochoa, who has clinched 2007 player of the year honors, No. 2 Karrie Webb and No. 3 Annika Sorenstam.

After Pettersen, Cristie Kerr was fifth and Paula Creamer remained sixth.

Juli Inskter moved up one spot to seventh, pushing Se-Ri Pak to eighth. Morgan Pressel and Mi Hyun Kim completed the top 10.
