NHL: San Jose 4, Calgary 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Milan Michalek nabbed a pair of goals and Evgeni Nabokov made 18 saves to help push San Jose past Calgary, 4-1, Monday night.

Steve Bernier and Ryane Clowe also scored and Jeremy Roenick had a pair of assists for the Sharks, who have three of their last four.

The Flames lost for just the second time in six games, as Daymond Langkow scored his team-best eighth goal of the season. Starting goalie Miikka Kiprusoff allowed three goals on 18 shots, followed by Curtis McElhinney, who finished the game by giving up one goal on only two shots in his NHL debut.
