MLB: Toronto 11, Colorado 6

TORONTO, June 23 (UPI) -- Frank Thomas had a two-run home run among four hits and four RBI Saturday as Toronto beat Colorado 11-6.

His homer in the bottom of the first inning, the 498th of his career, gave Toronto a 6-3 lead in the interleague contest.

Matt Stairs had two runs, four hits, including a solo homer, and two RBI, while Adam Lind had two hits and two RBI, and Troy Glaus had three runs and two hits. Three other Blue Jays drove in one run as Toronto won for the third time in its last four games.

The winner was reliever Brian Wolfe (2-0), despite his first blown save of the season.

Five different Colorado players knocked in one run, including Troy Tulowitzki, who hit his sixth homer of the season in the second.

One run scored on an error by Stairs in the sixth, and Matt Holliday had two hits for the Rockies, who have lost two straight after a three-game winning streak.

The loser was Aaron Cook (4-5).
