NBA: Toronto 96, Miami 83

TORONTO, March 28 (UPI) -- Anthony Parker led six players in double figures Wednesday night with 20 points as the Toronto Raptors topped the Miami Heat, 96-83.

Toronto spurted to a 31-15 lead after the first quarter, and was able to hold Miami at bay for the rest of the contest.

Its halftime lead was 58-40.

Juan Dixon had 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists; T.J. Ford had 14 points and nine assists; Chris Bosh had 13 points and 18 rebounds; Mo Peterson scored 11 points; and Rasho Nesterovic added 10 points for the Atlantic Division-leading Raptors.

Shaquille O'Neal led Miami with 17 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Eddie Jones had 12 points and four assists; Chris Quinn scored 11 points; while Antoine Walker had 10 points and five rebounds for the Heat, who have lost three of their last four games to fall one-half game back of Washington in the Southeast Division.

The Wizards beat Philadelphia, 111-108.
