The United States sends the world No. 1 doubles team of twins Bob and Mike Bryan against Youzhny and Dmitry Tursunov in a Saturday match ahead of Sunday's singles pairing with Roddick facing Youzhny and Blake versus Safin.

The Davis Cup semifinal will be played indoors on clay.

The team that wins the Moscow semifinal heads into December's Davis Cup final against the winner of a semifinal this weekend pitting Australia against Argentina in Buenos Aires.
